Is Misoprostol Safe To Take With PCOS, Chronic Cervicitis And Hypertrophied Cervix?

I was recommended to take misoprostol tablets for 3 days as i missed my periods for the last four months.all the preg tests came ntve.my question is whether is it safe to take the above tablets cos i have pcos and chronic cervicities and hypertrophied cervix.usually i have very heavy bleeding so i request you to please clarify my doubt
