Is Modus Pills, Effective For Scanty Menstrual Flow?

I am 26 yrs old. Ummarried. I have problem with my periods with very less bleeding. My gnaec suggested to do hormonal test. She told progestrone and astrogen hormones are imbalanced and she suggested me to take modus 10 mg from 14 day of my previous cycle. for 10 days. i have taken the modus for 2 days and i feel very low n itching is der on my thighs very badly. pls let me know should i continue with modus or consult my dr.
