Is Motrin Suggested For Numbness, Pain And Tingling Sensation In Fingers And Shoulder?

Last night I was taking my 21 lb toddler out of her highchair when I felt a pop and burning in my trap/shoulder area. It immediately became excrutiatingly painful and I had numbness and tingling down to my middle finger. I made it worse this morning by moving in a strange way, (again wrangling my toddler) and I'm now sick to my stomache from the pain level even on 3 motrin. What could this be?
