Is Narcolepsy, Associated With Sensitivity To Noises?

I was just recently diagnosed with Narcolepsy... And given nuvigil 250 to fix it... Since then I've started to develop a serious sensitivity to noise, especially higher pitch stuff (women raising their voices is extremely painful). I don't think it's an ear infection, but I could be wrong.
