General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
First of all, stress worsens the condition and decreases the chances of conception and so relax and in fact try not to get worked about getting pregnant.
The medications you have been prescribed are supportive medicines and they mainly reduce oxidative stress in the body. They give a fair chance in improving the chances for conceiving.
Since you have thyroid problem, you need to take the medication regularly so that it normalizes your menstrual pattern and makes it convenient for you to conceive. This may take about 3 to 6 months, depending on your response.
Hence keep trying patiently and let it happen naturally, at the earliest.
All the best.
