Is Normoz Effective In Treating PCOS?

I am 25 years old i got married 2 months before,i am trying to conceive. Yesterday i did my ultrasound scan,yesterday only i know i have pcos.I am really shocked.I had cried last night.Doctor prescribe me to take oral pills for 15 days.The tablet name is Normoz with combination of (myo-inositol,D-chiro-inositol,chromium,vitamin d3 tablet).This tablet will help me to conceive in this month or next month or not.i want to know i am having the chances to getting pregnant or not?.I m really confused.Please help me...

Hello there,
Please do not get so upset as PCOS is a very common problem and not such a serious condition. The best treatment for PCOS usually is to lose some weight if you are overweight. Stress worsens this condition and so relax and in fact try not to get worked about getting pregnant. The medications you have been prescribed are supportive medicines and mainly reduce oxidative stress in the body. They are not going to directly cause ovulation (release of egg from ovary) which is the main problem in PCOS.
Women with PCOS do not ovulate regularly. Try to eat a healthy diet consisting of fruits and vegetables. Lots of whole grains and fibre. Exercise should be a part of your routine. Lose some 2-3 kgs and I am sure it will help you ovulate. Have intercourse every 2-3 days from the 10th day to the 20th day of your cycle considering your cycle is of 24-35 days range. This should help you to conceive.
The medication prescribed to you cannot guarantee pregnancy in this month or next. Moreover a married couple has to try for a year to conceive before any treatment needs to be planned. So dont worry and relax. All the best.
