Is O2 Advisable For Diarrhea While On ORS And Cyclopam?
My Daughter is suffering from Diarrhea since last 4 days. We consulted one local dr then paediatrtion. 1st Dr gave O2 tab 2wice day for 2 days+ loparamide 6 tabs for 2 days + ORS +Pantosac 40 + Cyclopam. After 2 days we went to ped and he continued all med except loparamide. According to him this is not yo be given else condition worsens. Today is 5th day. Total O2 tablets taken 1+2+2+2+2 Dr wants to continue for another 2 days. Pl advice.

It may be due to gastroenteritis.
For further assessment you may require complete hemogram, stool analysis, ultrasound abdomen after physician consultation.
You may require antibiotics after consultation.
Keep your self hydrated.
Take soft diet
