Is Ofloxacin Effective In Treating Staphylococcus Aureus Infection?

My friend confided in me and gave me his lab test result which indicates that he have moderate growth of staphylococcus aureus. The doctor prescribed ofloxacin, ofla D with ginsomin capsules and vibramycin capsule. Will this drug impede or eradicate this staph
