Is Omnacortil Safe For A Toddler With Cold And Cough?

Hello my daughter is 14 months old and she is having cold and heavy cough..her doctor prescribed cetrizine and asthalin for 5 days.. and he asked to give moxikind if her fever spikes again.. today is her third day and her cough and cold doesn t seem to get reduced so we went to the doctor again and he suggested us to continue cetrizine and asthalin along with moxikind and he also prescribed omnacortil syrup for 3 days.. I am not sure on whether to give omnacortil for her since it is a steroid.. can u please help ?
