General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my surgical experience, the Opdivo ( Nivolumab ) is a monoclonal antibody originally approved for use in lung cancer , now used in variety of oncological disorders including that of metastatic melanoma, kidney cancer and others.

It is the immune modulation approach which helps your body cells of T and B group to fight against the cancer cells.

However, individual response depends upon multiple parameters and the same has to be evaluated considering pros and cons of the therapy side effects.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
