Is Ovral-G Advisable For PCOD?

my wife is diagnosed with pcos and is going under treatment.she is not having her periods regular. doctor earlier prescribed her ovral-G ,whenever she missed periods.now its almost two months she is not having period.should i be giving her ovral-G to make things inline. please help
