OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

PCOD is very tricky to treat. Weight loss is an important part of the treatment because modest reduction in weight by 5% also would give amazing results in regularizing the periods and alleviating symptoms. It is not an incurable disease but long treatment with lifestyle modification including diet and exercise play a major role in treating.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
