Is PSA Level Of 5.9 A Cause For Concern?

I am 62 years old and just got my PSA results. The level was 5.9 up from 4.8 two years ago. I have always had normal DRE s. Now my primary want me to see a urologist. I am concerned becasue of the horror stories I read about some of the testing. So my question is, is a urology consult in order?
