Is Pamsvax XL Right Treatment For Chronic Prostitis?

My husband has been diagnosed with chronic prostitis He has taken 3 courses of ciprofloxacin 500mg and has now been prescribed another 2 week course and Pamsvax XL (Tamsulosin) is this the right treatment? He has been told Tamsulosin lowers the blood pressure is this correct?
