Is Paracetamol Advisable For Sudden And Painful Headache?

I suffered a sudden very painful headache which made the top of my head ache badly and both sides of my neck tensed. The headache followed a 10 mike bike ride at 22 mph. This happened 10 days ago and my head still feels like it has a pressure headache, but not bad. I had a normal CT scan . Ideas? Advised to take paracetamol.

Dear Patient,

I read your concern.

Yes, paracetamol is advised to take as first choice in a painful moderate headache (unless you have hepatic problems consider another drug).
If paracetamol does not work well enough, combine it with ibuprofen.

I would recommend that you eat healthy, and make long walks in open space. This will help alleviate your pain.

Best Regards,
Dr. Eni.
