Is Pause M, Advisable For Excess Menses Flow With Abdominal Pain?

I have pcod, I went to gynaecologist on 1 st march, she has asked for various tests to be done on 2-5th day of cycle. My last periods were on 1st jan lasted for 6-7 days and were moderate. To start period she prescribed duphaston , but My periods have started without med from next day. I have severe lower abdominal and lower back pain also having excessive bleeding. Pls advice if I can take ' Pause M' ?
