Is Pedicloryl Safe For A 2 Year Old Child?

Hi, this is shaista here. i have a baby 2.9 months and weight is 13.2kg and a normal child. she is undergoing tooth filling treatment for cavity she has. Pediatric dentist prescribed Pedicloryl to sedate her for treatment purpose only. I am concerned! is this safe for her? she has total 6-8 cavities and also she might have to go RCT for 2 teeth, is this ok to give her every time she is treated because she do tantrums while the process going...pls advice

Hello,

Pedicloryl syrup should not be used regularly for sedating baby under normal cicumstances .

Should be used only if baby undergo some tests or treatments where child has to be sedated.

If the child has pain during the procedure it can be used but very carefully.
