Hi,

Postinor is an emergency contraceptive only. Postinor is not intended as a regular method of contraception. It is used to prevent pregnancy when taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

The sooner that you take Postinor after unprotected intercourse, the more likely it is that the medication will work.

So postinor pills which were taken last week will not prevent a pregnancy if you are involved in an unprotected sex one or two days back.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
