Is Prednisolone Advisable For Polymyalgia Rheumatica?

I have a diagnosis of polymyalgia and I am taking 5mgs of prednisolone daily. My esr is within normal limits. I get really cols sweats on and off during the day and cramps in my lower legs at night and my lower legs feel cold but are warm to the touch. Can you help Margaret
