Is Prednisone The Right Medication For Redness And Swelling On Tonsils?
Hi , I am 33 year old female. My tonsils are red and swollen with white spots on them. My strep was negative Doctor has done another culture which come sback in 3 days. He prescribed me Prednisone20 mg , 3 tablets a day for 4 days. Is it too much of a dose? My tonsils aren t that bad that I cant swallow anything or talk. I do have fever and body aches.
