Is Prempro The Right Medication To Reduce The Side Effects Of Menopause?

I am 43 and just started Prempro due to full on menopause. I am concerned about the side effects & weight gain. Due to my hormones & loss of metabolism, I have gained about 15 pounds over the last year. I am generally a size 4 & have gone to a tight 6. I was completely bloated, had pain, pressure in my cervix, depression and have had no energy. My doctor suggested this drug, stating it would relieve all my symptoms & I would get start to feel normal again within a few weeks. - I already feel better but in researching, there are so many negative reviews... Any positive insights?
