Is Propranolol Advisable For Anxiety In Person With Low Heart Rate?
I was given Propranolol for anxiety, but my heart rate is on the lower end of the scale and I only weigh 106 at 5 7 , so I worry about taking it while working at my physically demanding job- should I be worried? (My doctor is an idiot, and I don t trust his judgment- but I m from a small town and have basically no option in who I see)
Hello Thank you for asking the question. You are using the drug propanolol. It is beta blocker drug mainly used for hypertension. There are many side effect like cough, dizziness, difficulty in breathing etc. Decrease in heart rate also occur in propanolol. If slow heart rate is not a problem with your job then continue with the drug. If you are getting other side effects of these drug then consult a doctor. Hope this will helpful to you.
