Is Provera 10mg Advisable To Get Missed Menstruation?

Hi I had unprotected sex approx. 2 days before my period. I haven t seen my period yet, which was due last week. What is the possibility that I am pregnant? I haven t taken a test yet because I am deathly afraid of the result... I went to the pharmacy and told them I needed something to start my period, they asked if I was pregnant I said no and was given provera 10mg to take - 1 pill tds for 5 days.... Whats your take?

Hi as you said that you have done unprotected sexual intercourse jst 2 days before your menstrual cycle started in normap case if a female has 28 days cycle so 14th day her ovulation occur and here the higheat chance to get pregnant before ovulution no cahnce and after 2,3 days of ovulution the chance to become pregnant decreasing day by day in your case 2 days before no chance to get pregnant because uptil now your ova become useless due to structural changes in it.
some heavy exercise alternate cold and hot bath may reduce the risk along with progesteron tab you are taking already.
