Is Qnasl Administration Safe In Children?

Help please I gave Qnasl to my 5 year old as the dr gave me a sample and he is so stuffed up I have two puffs of 80mg per each nostril. Will my five year old feel relief with this and is he ok? I m afraid to go to sleep and not monitor him. He had 24 hour Claritin earlier.

Read and understood the history of Qnasal spray to a 5 year old child for which you have got over-anxious.
I can understand your concerns.
This can be given as recommended for a child above 4 years of age and since you child is 5 years old, this is safe.
You have to spray only one puff per nostril per day to give total dose of 80 micro gram.
So please stop worrying, this is safe for your child.
