Is Quinfamida The Same Drug As Albendazole?

what is quinfamida - is that the same drug as albendazole? I moved to Mexico 2 months ago and have been advised by other expats to take 200mgs of Albendazole twice a day for 2 weeks, and quinfamida twice a day for 3 consecutive days, to prevent Guardia from developing. To repeat this every 6 months. I have developed very soft stools since then, but am against prescribng antibiotics for myself. I seek your advice only for clarification. Thank you.
