Is Reclast Infusion Advisable For Prevention Of Bone Breakage?

I am scheduled to take an IV of reclast to keep my bones from breaking down. I am 70 years old but I have my doubts about reclast going into my body. Give me some positive thoughts about Reclast for bone breakage prevention. This is an acid and I have my doubts about the product. Thanky you.

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the Reclast contains Zolendronic acid as its content and hence it is used in variety of clinical conditions including Page disease of bone, osteoporosis of the post menopausal women. However, as there are many side effects of Zolendronic acid such as:
- Nausea, vomiting
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Fever
- Chills
- Muscle and joint ache
- Pain at injection site

Kindly discuss pros and cons of the therapy before initiating it.
