Is Remeron Effective In The Treatment Of Insomnia?

Hi, I am having sleep issues. I prefer not to take a heavy narcotic. My friend who is a pharmacist recommended Remeron. He feels this anti depressant would make me tired.......thoughts??? Thank you anyway but i am not paying for an answer. I will call my dr.

Hi,

Remeron being antidepressants medication would relieve your depression. & would help you for insomnia too. In case you do not get sleep due to over occupied mind. It may not help in insomnia without depression.
