Is Robaxin Effective In The Treatment Of Restless Legs Syndrome And Insomnia?

I was on 20 mcg Butrans Patch due to 3 previous back surgies. Thanks to my ins carrier, they will no longer pay. I am 67 yrs old and going thru withdrawal. It was suggested that Robaxin would help my aggitation, restless legs and insomnia. I still work but without sleep at night, that may not last much longer. Is Robaxin a short term solution? Sleepless Sue

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Robaxin is a brand name of methocarbamol.

You can switch to newer drugs like ropinirole which is more effective for restless leg syndrome.
