Is Rocephin Injection Safe For An Elderly Female?

How safe is an IM injection of Rocephin given to a 93 yr old female. She has a bladder infection and was on amoxicillin currently. She has been experiencing noises and loud sounds in her head she says. Can this be due to a bacterial infection. She also suffers with severe dry macular degeneration!
