General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
According to NABL standardized laboratory, Normal reference range of SGPT is 29-72 IU/L.
Increase values of the SGPT by 5-10 fold have clinically significant along with increase in bilirubin level.
So your SGPT level is completely normal and not a cause of concern.
Your loss of appetite is due to erosion in the gastric antrum, suggests gastritis.
I would suggest to go for urea breath test, stool antigen and antibody in blood for H.pylori infection.
If H.pylori will positive then take omeprazole + clarithromycin + amoxicillin.
For gastritis take following advises:
Syrup mucaine on empty stomach
If not responds then omeprazole will helpful
Take Cytoprotective agents like sucralfate and bismuth subsalicylate
Capsule lactobacillus
Take diet like banana, boiled rice, applesauce, yogurt, buttermilk and toast
Avoid spicy food, stress, smoking and alcohol
Do regular exercise like walking and medication
Hope this may help you
