Is Sertraline Effective In The Treatment Of Anxiety?
Im being treated for sarcoiosis of the lung with prednisone daily 40 mg alternating to 20 3 days a week. Will this sertroline HCl helpto lessen the anxiety which is terrible and causes me to think I will always act like this without much relieve. I hope to be weaned off of predinisone in about 1 week .. HELP Steve A

Sertraline is a good treatment for anxiety. it will need 10 days before the effect is good though so it needs some patience. The doctor might need to start with a smaller dose and increase gradually till he finds the best dose for you.
