Hi, I understand your concern. - You are 30 weeks pregnant, had post natal depression last time. At present also you suffer from severe depression. In such case the risk of getting relapse of depression is greater than risk of side effect of anti depressant. moreover,Sertraline is observed to be comparatively safe in pregnancy. - Weight gain of fetus is not a known side effect of the drug you are taking.Few heart/lung defects in baby can be managed after baby is born. - The dose you are taking is also a mild one.( the highest range being 150 mg/day.) This will reduce severity of side effects in any. - You can try to reduce it still more, with a psychotherapy or councelling, after consulting your consultant. Thanks.
