Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Sinus tachycardia life threatening? I had an ekg and the ER dr. said it was fine, but when I reviewed the copy of the test results, it shows 'abnornal' which has me concerned -- if it was fine, would it also be marked abnormal?
RSR' or QR pattern in V1 suggests right ventricular conduction delay Poor precordial R wave progression Low QRS voltages in precordial leads Abnormal ECG
hi, welcome to HCM, what your physician told you is correct. Dont rely upon the machine values and readings. EKG is an electronic machine,so even the slight change is labelled as abnormal. It should be interpreted by a physician.
More over sinus tachycardia is a very common problem and no need to worry about that. If you have additional palpitations then you should have to use drugs like metoprolol otherwise no meds required
