Is TIFFA Scan Recommended During Second Trimester Of Pregnancy?
I am 33 years old, and into 24 weeks of my first pregnancy. I am currently posted at a remote place, and visiting a gynec nearby. So far, the doctor did not suggest a TIFFA scan but I would like to know if it s required, and when is the appropriate time to get it done.

Anomaly scan or TIFFA scan is very necessary during second trimester to rule out any congenital abnormalities. usually performed between 18 -24 weeks. I advise you to consult your doctor and get scan done as soon as possible as you are already 24 weeks pregnant.
