Is TSH Level Of -33 A Cause For Concern?

I got a read-out of my blood work which was done last week. It shows my tsh is -33. Would that be why I am suddenly sleepy, off balance, slow to respond, and ache terribly in my joints? The pain is excruciating. How could these indications (symptoms) be ignored as just complaining? also, I suspect that the office thinks I may be looking for narcotics. I haven t had a percocet in 3 years, nor have I sought any.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
According to NABL lab, normal reference range of TSH is 0.4 to 4.0 milli-international units per liter (mIU/L).
But your TSH level is 33 mIU/L, it is very high.
It suggest you have hypothyroidism.
All your symptoms could be due to hypothyroidism
I would suggest to consult the endocrinologist and undergo complete thyroid profile test like free T3, free T4. anti TPO, T3 uptake for better management.
Doctor will provide levothyroxin supplements
Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise
Hope this may help you
