Is TSH Level Of 56 A Cause For Concern?

Hi , My TSH is 56 and T3 and T4 are normal. I was already on eltroxin 100 now doctor advised me to take 100 mg in morning and 75 in evening. Is it OK? Also how can I get my TSH normal ASAP, any extra supplememnts or exercise that can help? I am experiencing hand muscle numbness and bad joint paints also...is this also related to thyroid? I am a 35 years old female.

I am going to assume you are taking thyroid medication for Hashmoto's thyroiditis which is the most common cause of hypothyroidism. If you have thyroid cancer, this advice does not apply.
Given that your TSH level is elevated while taking thyroid medication, it is appropriate to increase your thyroid dose. The hand tingling symptoms are likely related to the thyroid condition.
After 4 to 6 weeks of taking the higher thyroid medication dose, you should have your TSH rechecked and the dose readjusted as needed.
