Is Tranostat-MF And Taxim Advisable To Avoid Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy?

Hello doctor, My wife is 30 weeks pregnant and she had signs of bleeding las evening so the sonography was done and the reports were clear. Again today morning she had signs of bleeding so the doctors have admitted her and had given her tranostat and taxeim injection. Is there anything to worry about? And is the treatement going good?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Your wife is 30 week pregnant ....

Her sonography and examination is normal...
So no need for worry about placenta previa, abruption placenta , cervical polyp or growth...

Here bleeding could be by infection....

So you are under antibiotic therapy...

Along with antibiotic you are given trenexemic acid which prevent clot lysis and antifibrinolytic agent for stop bleeding...

Hope your concern solved...

Excess spicy food restricted ...

Take care
