Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.

You seem to have Melasma which arises as brown to tan colored, well defined, irregular patches on sun exposed skin of face like cheeks/ malar prominences, upper lip, eyebrows etc. Melasma is mostlu idiopathic i.e of discernable reason. I suggest you to try this new cream. It is a mixture of skin lightening ingredients like alpha arbutin, resorcinol etc along with sunprotection factor (SPF). Use it twice daily _ morning and dinner. Results may take some time to become fully noticeable therefore I advice you to be patient with the treatment.

Regards

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You can use Tri o Block cream. But, make sure that the ingredients does not contain steroids or hydroquinone. Mometasone, Clobetasol, Fluticasone and Hydrocortisone are some of the steroids. Also, You should apply sunscreen daily for treating hyperpigmentation. Sunscreen plays a key role in management of skin pigmentation. Sunscreen should be applied over whole face frequently (ideally at 8 AM, 11 AM and 2 PM).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
