Is Ultram Effective For Pain From The Interstitial Cystitis?

I have both fibromyalgia and interstitial cystitis. I am currently prescribed 2 10 Mg. Norco per day to manage pain. A relative said that Ultram works better for her for soft tissue pain. Is this true? The pain from the interstitial cystitis is what I am struggling way more with.

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Ultram (Tramadol) can be effective. Tricyclic antidepressants like amitriptyline or nortriptyline can be effective for interstitial cystitis. Both can be used together as well if the pain is not controlled.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
