Is Unwanted Kit Effective In Terminating Unwanted Pregnancy?

Hi i am 6weeks 2days pregnant. But i dont want to have the baby. I am 21 yrs old and have taken unwanted kit the Mifepristone 200 mg and wll be taking the other four Misoprostol 200 MCG tomorrow. I just wanted to know will it completely help washing out the foetus or complications might happen. I am scared to take it. Is it safe?

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have got pregnant and you want abortion for that, Unwanted kit is an effective method of abortion for pregnancies less than 7 weeks gestation and yes it is safe however you should do it under supervision of medical practitioner after getting transvaginal ultrasonography. Otherwise, you may have complications like uncontrolled bleeding or incomplete abortion. If you are not prepared you should take proper precautions and proper preventive methods to avoid it.
