Is Ursodiol The Right Medicine For Itching Sensation All Over The Body?
I have a blocked bile duct caused by a mass on my pancreas. I will be having a Whipple procedure done soon but in the meantime, the itching (jaundice) is driving me insane. All my liver function are through the roof. Is Ursodiol 250 mg bid a good idea?

Hello,
Ursodiol is usually taken two or three times a day with or without food to treat gallstones or to prevent gallstones.
It is not used to treat the itching.
So, I suggest using Cetirizine to relieve the itching.
This medication is an antihistamine which will help with the itching.
