Is Valproate Advisable For Seizure Attacks In A Person With Heart Disease?

ray is a male aged 75 with having 3 heart attacks and died twice currently on various medications including warfrin doc not sure if the funny turns he keeps having is a seizure but has recomended a new medication to take. it is called valproate winthrop to treat his problem that has been ongoing for quite some time and seems to be getting worse. has had tests done by neurologist to rule out parkinson and epilesey diseases. should he take the medicine?
