Is Valprol Advisable To Take During Pregnancy?

Hello I am 28 yrs old women and I am suffering from epilepsy from last 14-15 yrs but I was gud from lat 2-3 yrs and now I am pregnant and having long seizure attack once a day for an hour or more an indian doctor said me to take valprol cr 300 is it safe to take this medicine in pregnancy or what medicine is gud in pregnancy to stop seizures now I am taking keppra 1000mg twice a day frm last 2 yrs hope you reply soon thanks

The anti-epileptic drugs pass from mother to child and are teratogenic. I suggest you to consult your physician for prescription of drug with least side effect during pregnancy.
