Hi,

The are commended only for ADD. Both adderall and vyvanse contain derivatives of amphetamine and are central nervous system stimulants and are commonly prescribed to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Adderall and vyvanse are not antidepressants but either of these medications may be used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder in people who have both ADHD and obsessive compulsive disorder for which you need a prescription. However, selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors like fluoxetine is preferred for the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
