Is Wysolone 5mg Advisable For Itchy Body During Pregnancy?

Hi, I m 29 wks preg and suffering from severe itching all over my body and my ICP results came negative. My doc has advised me to take Wysolone 5mg in the following basis 2-2-2 (3days) 1-1-1(3 days) 1-0-1(3days) 1-0-0(3 days) Pls let me know if this is safe.

Wyselon is a steroid and FDA category c drug means no human studies done.
It can be used during pregnancy in a very low doses( 2-5 mg).
