Is X-ray Necessary For Severe Pain In Lower Rib Cage Bones?

Have fallen and lower-right rib cage bones may be fractured or broken. I need to heal quickly for I have a lot of physical labor to do. To ease my pain, I am using my back brace-support to move around w/o pain. Should I schedule my orthopedics doctor for X-Rays ??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
yes, you should go for X ray for confirmation of rib fracture. and if fracture confirmed than go for strapping of that particular region to minimise the rib movement and fasten the healing.
