Is Xanax Advisable While Taking Alcohol?

I have been taking 5drinks a day. If I don't take any Xanax until then, get plenty of antioxidants, sunlight and exercise, I should be ok to drink, correct? The Xanax will likely be out of my system to react negatively with the alcohol.
