Is Zonisamide Safe To Be Taken For Headache?

Yes, I was given this drug Zonisamide 25mg and I don t have Seizures and I m not a Pet....I have been treated for Lupus for 20 years and now come to find out I have MS.. I think the Dr gave this to me for a Headache, but now I m not sure and if I remember right I might not be able to take sulfa.

Zonisamide is a anti-seizure drug and also treats migraine. There are many milder drugs to treat headaches. If there are no seizures, kindly consult a neuro-physician to change to milder drug formulations.
