Hi,
For this acute reaction of rashes and diarrhea, the syrup cetirizine(Zyrtec) can be given in a dosage of 2.5mg once or twice a day for your 10-month-old child as instructed by your doctor. Avoid chronic use and Folow up for the G6PD deficiency with your pediatrician.
Regards Dr. Ritvik Raghu
