Is A B-12 Level Of 1850 Serious?

In March my B-12 level was 1850...does that indicate a serious problem? I developed Ideopathic Small Neuropathy in May and no doctor seems to think by B-12 levels are anything to be concerned about. I have seen several Neuropathy speciliests. Thank you. Rachel

Rachel, B-12 deficiency can cause neuropathy. Level may be different acording to test methods but any thing above 500ng/ml is normal. Vitamin B-12 is a part of B complex and if you are taking good nutritive diet, this is not the cause of neuropathy in your case.
